How it’s worked out
FSc: Aggregate = ECAT % × 33% + FSc Part-1 % × 50% + Matric % × 17%. O/A-level and DAE: ECAT % × 33% + O-level equivalence or DAE % × 67%. ECAT % = your marks ÷ 400 × 100.
- From UET Lahore's undergraduate prospectus for Fall 2026 (page 20). You need an aggregate of at least 50% to be eligible.
- Hafiz-e-Quran: UET's committee can add 0 to 20 marks after a test. The prospectus doesn't say exactly how they're added, so they aren't in this calculator.
- Other universities that accept ECAT may use their own formula.

What is the UET aggregate formula?
For FSc students: ECAT 33%, FSc Part-1 50% and Matric 17%. For O/A-level and DAE: ECAT 33% and the O-level equivalence or DAE marks 67%.
Why Part-1 and not full FSc?
UET's prospectus says Part-1 marks are used, even if you've completed intermediate.
How many marks is ECAT?
100 MCQs, 4 marks each: 400 marks, with no negative marking.
