About Hunarzai
The people of skill
Hunarzai (هنرزی) comes from hunar, skill, and zai, the Pashto for “son of” or “people of”, the same ending you hear in family names like Yousafzai. We’re building a marketplace where anyone in Pakistan can learn a skill that pays, from people who do that work, in the language they think in.
Why we started
Good courses in AI, automation, design, marketing and web development exist, but almost all of them are in English. For a lot of talented people in Pakistan, that one thing is the difference between learning a skill and giving up halfway.
So we bring teachers from across Pakistan together in one place, teaching the same modern skills in Urdu, English and the languages people speak at home, the way you’d explain things to a friend. The website is in English so the words you see here match the words you’ll use at work. The teaching is in your language so you actually understand them.
We’re starting online so students anywhere in the country can join. Campuses are part of the plan for later.
