How it’s worked out
GPA = (grade points × credit hours, added up for every course) ÷ total credit hours. New CGPA = (CGPA so far × credit hours so far + this semester's points) ÷ all credit hours.

Questions
How is GPA calculated?
Multiply each course's grade points by its credit hours, add them up, and divide by the total credit hours.
How do I convert CGPA to a percentage?
There's no single official HEC formula. HEC's guidelines give recommended grade bands (for example A is 85% and above), and many universities publish their own conversion. Use your university's.
