These terms apply when you publish a course on Hunarzai. They sit alongside our general terms of use. “Hunarzai”, “we” and “us” mean the team that runs this website.
Your courses
- Before your courses can go live, we verify who you are. You send your CNIC, a WhatsApp number, your qualification and a short sample lesson. We use these only to confirm your identity, contact you and pay you, and only the Hunarzai team can see them.
- You create your course, set its price and choose how it’s taught: recorded, live or both.
- Every course must meet our published quality standards before it can be sent for review.
- Every course is checked by our team before it goes live. We may ask for changes, and we may decline a course that doesn’t meet our standards. We can also take a live course down if it breaks these terms or students report a serious problem.
- Changes you make to a live course show to students straight away. Please keep your course accurate and up to date.
- If students are enrolled in your course, you can't remove it without agreeing a date with us first, so students aren't left part-way through.
- Lesson videos are uploaded on the course’s Videos page, or linked from YouTube or Vimeo. Live classes use Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links. The teacher name and details on your courses come from your teacher profile.
Prices
To keep courses affordable, each type of course has a maximum price:
- Recorded courses: up to PKR 4,999
- Live courses: up to PKR 9,999
- Hybrid courses: up to PKR 7,999
While our launch prices run, students pay the launch price for each course type or your price, whichever is lower. Your share is worked out on what the student actually paid. We may change the caps or the launch prices. If we do, we’ll tell you first.
What you earn
- Students pay Hunarzai. You earn 60% of the amount the student paid for your course, unless we agree a different share with you in writing.
- If the student bought after opening your own teacher link in the previous 30 days, you earn 90% instead. Links are shown in your dashboard. You must not use fake accounts, paid sign-ups or purchases of your own courses to earn this higher share. If you do, we can reverse those earnings and close your teacher account.
- Your share is fixed at the moment each sale is approved. If your share changes later, it only applies to new sales.
- From time to time Hunarzai runs site-wide sales with a % off every paid course, and at launch students who joined our waitlist get a one-off discount on one course. Your share is of the price the student actually paid, so it’s lower on those sales.
- When an affiliate brings a student, their commission comes out of Hunarzai’s part of the sale, not yours.
- Your teacher link only counts when it brings someone from outside Hunarzai (your WhatsApp, social media, website or students). Links placed inside Hunarzai itself, such as in a course description or an answer, don’t count. You can’t buy or review your own course.
- Schools and organisations can buy seats on your course in bulk. Each seat is sold at a per-seat price Hunarzai agrees with the school, which may be lower than your course price. Your share is worked out on that seat price. Students who join through a school code can’t ask us for a refund.
- Students can ask for a refund within 30 days (see our refund policy), so each sale becomes payable to you 30 days after it’s approved.
- We pay what you're owed, once each sale's hold period has passed, by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer to an account in your name. Your Earnings page shows what is payable and every payment we've sent.
- If a student gets a refund, you don’t earn on that sale. If we’ve already paid you for it, we take it off your next payment.
- You’re responsible for any tax on what you earn.
Your content
- You keep ownership of your course. You give Hunarzai permission to host, show and promote it, and to let enrolled students use it, for as long as it’s on Hunarzai and for students who have already enrolled.
- You must own, or have permission to use, everything in your course: videos, music, images, slides and notes. Don’t copy other people’s courses.
- Nothing illegal, hateful, misleading or unsafe. No promises of guaranteed jobs or income.
Students
- You can see your students’ names and progress. To protect their privacy, we don’t share their phone numbers, emails or payment details.
- Please don’t ask students to pay you directly or move them off Hunarzai for the same course.
- Be respectful in live classes and messages, the same as we ask of students.
Ending the agreement
You can stop teaching with us at any time by contacting us. We can end this agreement if you break these terms. Either way, we pay you what you’ve earned up to that point, minus any refunds.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Pakistan.
